How Jared Armstrong Is Changing Lives Through Basketball

On this week’s episode of The Baseline, we welcome back our first-ever returning guest, Jared Armstrong, who is one of the most inspiring leaders in the basketball world today.

Jared is a professional basketball player whose impact stretches far beyond the court. Through his nonprofit organizations JAB Camp and JAB Courts, he has dedicated himself to using basketball as a tool to bring people together, combat hate, and create opportunities for young athletes who otherwise may never have access to them.

Over the last few years, Jared has helped create and renovate courts across Israel, particularly in underserved and war-affected communities, while building camps focused not just on basketball, but also leadership, education, financial literacy, unity, and resilience. His programs bring together kids from different backgrounds and teach them how sports can become a bridge between communities.

In this episode, we talk about the deeper mission behind JAB, the emotional impact basketball can have during difficult times, what it means to lead with purpose, and why creating safe spaces for kids matters now more than ever.
This is one of our most meaningful conversations yet.
